Job Summary
Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is hiring a Social Media Specialist (Part-Time) to join our Digital Marketing team. We are looking for a part-timer with a passion for basketball that will help take our digital channels to the next level! You will gain experience working in the fast-paced environment of game nights and will have your work showcased across PS&E properties. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking and motivated individual who can work independently and collaborate with a team.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of game night digital content for both home and away games.
- Build social media content for all PS&E properties, including Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Noblesville Boom, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Pacers Team Store, as well as mascot and dance team accounts.
- Clip and edit highlights in-game and postgame.
- Prioritize and organize photos or videos from multiple sources.
- Capture and post real-time content during game nights.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent written communication skills are required. Ability to edit written content with a quick turnaround.
- Available to work on-site on Pacers & Fever home games and remotely for road games, including late evening hours.
- Provide past social media work examples (personal or professional projects)
- A basic level of photo and video editing is required.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Excellent organization, communication, and planning skills.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and multi-task.
- Knowledge of the NBA, WNBA and G League, including Pacers, Fever and Boom.
- This role will require 10-20 hours/week, as dictated by game schedules during the Pacers/Fever/Boom seasons. Hours will fluctuate and be minimal during off months.
