Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media & Content Manager to oversee and execute our clients’ social media presence. This role will focus on content planning and day-to-day platform management to drive engagement and brand growth.
You will work with the agency’s creative and account management teams, addressing and providing effective and results-driven solutions for a variety of clients' weekly social media campaigns.
This role requires an estimated investment of 10-16 hours per week. Perfect for an individual already maintaining social media campaigns for others, media strategists seeking additional income streams, and for those looking for additional work that offers flexibility in hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Organize, plan, create, and schedule engaging content aligned with brand voice, standards, and goals
- Write compelling captions, content, and calls-to-action
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent posting
- Ability to think and plan strategically
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and build community
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Collaboration with internal account management and creative team members on campaign strategy and client needs
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and platforms
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Basic graphic design skills or an eye for visual composition and detail
- Knowledge of paid and organic strategies and planning
- Asset management and organization skills
- Experience working within the Vista Social campaign management AI-based platform or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with or hands-on experience with generative AI technology and various models
- Highly organized with the ability to manage and monitor multiple accounts/projects
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to craft ad copy and content
- Professional communication, reliability, and competency skills and abilities
- Comfortable working with and communicating directly with clients
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Basic familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite)
- Basic video editing skills. Development and production of short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
