Role Description
We are seeking a Women's Handbag Designer - Leather Goods designer for a remote / freelance position. This is a freelance hourly rate job. Pay is based on experience.
The designer will design based on inspiration images.
Designer must be able to create techpacks with technical sketches.
Responsibilities include creating design sketches, selecting appropriate textiles and materials, applying embroidery techniques, and collaborating with the team to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship. The designer will also assist with fittings, applying comments for factories, and ensure designs align with the brand’s aesthetics and quality standards.
You will report directly to the creative director.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in leather goods in contemporary / luxury fashion
- Leather knowledge and technical specs
- Techpack Creation
