Title: Freelance Designer

Responsibilities
- Identify market trends domestically and internationally and evaluate trends as they relate to the client.
- Work closely with design leadership to identify big ideas and key items that answer the seasonal brief and business needs.
- Create techpacks that ensure all necessary information directs the tech team on design intent, while providing proofreading and guidance support.
- Manage design team workloads and day-to-day tasks, prioritizing overlapping seasons.
- Attend style fittings and assist with fit comments and follow-up actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in the Apparel industry; experience with Knits & Fleece is a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Excel; PLM experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on business objectives.
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.
