A premier performing arts studio with multiple locations is seeking a social media and marketing expert to personally support the company’s Co-Founder. The Prep values creativity, authenticity, and connection—and I'm looking for someone who can bring that to life across my digital presence.
I'm looking for a strategic and creative Social Media & Marketing Manager who can both think big picture and execute daily content and living in NYC to help me physically capture and plan content. You should be equal parts creative storyteller, data-driven marketer, and trend-aware executor. This is a part time, independent-contractor position, pay to be discussed.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Social Media
- Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy across platforms
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content (posts, reels, stories, short-form video)
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity
- Stay ahead of trends and quickly adapt content to remain relevant
Growth & Engagement
- Grow audience, engagement, and reach organically
- Build and nurture an engaged online community
- Monitor DMs, comments, and audience interaction with a brand-first mindset
Marketing Strategy
- Support and execute marketing campaigns, launches, and promotions
- Collaborate on brand positioning, messaging, and audience targeting
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and influencer outreach
Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance metrics and provide actionable insights
- Optimize content based on data and trends
- Test and iterate strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion
Qualifications- 2–5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts or brands
- Strong understanding of current social trends, especially short-form video
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
- Ability to analyze data and adjust strategy accordingly
- Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented
