A Brooklyn studio with award-winning work for some of the world's most recognised tech and media brands needs a Creative Director who can lead both strategy and execution. Recent projects include systematic identity work for major streaming platforms, enterprise AI positioning for global technology companies, and complete visual overhauls for cultural institutions that have stood for over a century.
This is hands-on creative leadership at a studio where directors must design, not just direct. The previous Creative Director in this role is now a partner at one of the industry's most respected consultancies.
The Role
You will lead the visual identity transformation of a major global technology company as they reshape their offerings around AI positioning. This means owning the strategic thinking that creates systematic threads across an expansive product portfolio, then executing that vision through direct design work.
You will drive client relationships and manage demanding stakeholder expectations while maintaining creative standards. The work spans brand architecture, visual systems, and the kind of systematic design challenges that define technology brands at scale.
This role operates with significant autonomy. You will work closely with the studio's Executive Creative Director - a hands-on creative leader who understands both strategy and execution - but the project is designed to reduce his direct involvement.

$1,500 - $1,800 per day

A senior Creative Director currently working on global tech brands or complex multi-product companies. You have managed demanding clients and understand systematic design challenges across large portfolios.
You can operate autonomously while maintaining both strategic oversight and hands-on design execution - production workflows, client management, and creative direction all sit within your capability.
