Position Overview
Support nonprofit marketing campaigns and outreach efforts as a Marketing/PR Assistant. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness and community engagement. Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing while contributing to impactful projects.
Responsibilities Of The Marketing/PR Assistant
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for nonprofit initiatives.
- Create and edit content for social media, email, and web platforms.
- Support event promotion and community outreach activities.
- Analyze campaign performance and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain marketing databases and track engagement metrics.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance brand visibility.
- Ensure all communications align with organizational values.
Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing/PR Assistant:
- Internship or entry-level experience in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing/PR Assistant:
- Experience in nonprofit marketing or community outreach.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Graphic design or content creation skills.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
