Lead Bartender – (Social Media Support)
This is an elevated bartender position with additional social media responsibilities. Designed for bartenders looking to grow, contribute beyond their shifts, and earn additional income while supporting the taproom’s presence online.
What You’ll Do
- Capture simple content during shifts (photos, videos, stories)
· Post or assist with 1–2 pieces of content per week
- Highlight taproom energy, events, and new beers
- Keep Yelp/Google info updated
- Coordinate with Events/Marketing
- Deliver a great guest experience in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all SOPs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain strong product knowledge (craft beer preferred)
- Accurately operate POS and handle cash
- Keep bar and taproom clean, organized, and service-ready
- Support team communication and assist with opening/closing duties
Requirements
- RBS Certified (or able to obtain)
- Bartending or service experience preferred
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and events
Compensation & Structure
- $19/hour + tips during bartending shifts
- Includes 4 dedicated off-floor hours per week for social media work
- Part-time role; hours vary based on business needs.
- Office hours are used for planning, posting, and coordination.
Additional Notes
This role remains an hourly, non-exempt position. All work must be scheduled and compensated. Responsibilities may evolve and additional duties may be assigned based on business needs. This role does not alter the at-will nature of employment. Employment may be terminated at any time, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law. This is a part-time role. Weekly hours, including off-floor social media time, are scheduled based on business needs
