Social Media Manager (Contractor)
$50-$80/hr 20-25 hrs per week. Month to Month Terms with potential for a long-term contract

Artificial lighting in American homes is flooding our evenings with blue light, suppressing melatonin, impacting sleep, and disrupting the circadian rhythms our bodies depend on. Nobody's really talking about it yet. We're about to change that.
OIO by Korrus is the first and only circadian rhythm bulb, engineered to boost blue light when you wake up and eliminate it as you wind down. We own the patent. We have the science. Now we need the Voice.
We're looking for a Social Media Manager who's genuinely excited about what better light can do for human health and who knows how to educate, inspire, and build a community around a category-defining product. This role reports directly to the VP of Consumer Growth.
What You’ll Do
Own our content strategy and pillars
Define the core themes, formats, and narratives that shape how OIO shows up across every platform and every moment.
Manage our content calendar end-to-end
Plan, schedule and publish across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with consistent cadence and high editorial bar, using tools like Notion, Later or Sprout.
Share insights with paid media team
Work closely, with paid to exchange learnings, surface what's resonating organically, and apply paid performance signals back into content strategy. The goal is a shared understanding, not a shared brief.
Educate and shift the conversation
Turn the science of circadian rhythms, blue light, and wavelengths into content that makes people look at their light switch differently. Think less wellness fluff, more genuine aha moments.
Create and star in UGC-style video content
Film, direct, edit and appear in short-form video that brings OIO to life in real homes and real routines. You're the creator and the talent (CapCut, Premiere, or similar).
Leverage AI creative tools
Use tools like Higgsfield, Midjourney, and Nano Banana Pro to generate lifestyle imagery and explore new content formats as the brand scales.
Engage the communities already paying attention
Health, sleep, biohacking, and wellness audiences who are primed for what OIO offers. Show up in the conversations before they come to us.
Report on performance and iterate fast
This is a launch moment and we're moving with urgency
What You’ll Bring
· 2–4 years managing organic social for a consumer, health, or wellness brand.
· Experience owning content pillars and strategy end-to-end.
· Proven ability to manage a content calendar with tools like Notion, Later Sprout or similar
· Familiarity exchanging performance insights with paid media teams
· Hands-on short‑form video skills, comfortable filming, editing and publishing
natively (CapCut,Premiere, or similar)
· You’re the creator and the face, confident on camera and natural in front of a lens
· Experience with AI creative tools or a strong aptitude to learn fast (Higgsfield,Midijourney, etc).
· The ability to make complex science feel simple and exciting
· Sharp copywriting instincts and a genuine community-builder mindset
· Genuine curiosity about health, sleep, light, or human performance.
· Bonus: experience launching a new brand or product category
