Responsibilities
- Execute the technical design process from development to final fit.
- Analyze and evaluate garments to develop correct fit specifications.
- Ensure products are developed in line with established fit quality, standards, and cost specifications.
- Develop technical specifications and communicate fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
- Make adjustments with factories to ensure integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
Requirements
- Direct experience in directing Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical design.
- Experience with plus size garments.
- Experience with intimates.
