Marketing Assistant

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $25 per hour

Position Overview
Sleepyhead is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team. This position will work closely with the Marketing Director and CEO, assisting with a variety of digital marketing initiatives including SEO, social media management, and paid advertising support.
This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands-on experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and exposure to multiple areas of digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
SEO & Website Support
- Assist with keyword research and SEO optimization for website and product pages
- Support updates to website content and blog posts
- Monitor search performance and help implement improvements
Social Media & Content
- Assist with creating and scheduling social media posts across platforms
- Help manage engagement and respond to comments/messages as needed
- Support content creation for marketing campaigns and product launches
Paid Advertising Support
- Assist with social media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Help monitor campaign performance and compile reporting metrics
- Support creative testing and ad optimization initiatives
Marketing Operations
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
- Conduct research on competitors, trends, and marketing opportunities
- Help organize marketing assets and content libraries
- Support general marketing initiatives and projects as directed by leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of marketing experience (internships or relevant experience welcome)
- Basic understanding of SEO, social media platforms, and digital marketing
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
