Role Overview -
The position is a hybrid role combining Graphic Designer and Technical Writer responsibilities.
The role supports the Vantara Medical System diagnostic division in documentation and product labeling.
Primary responsibility is managing and updating interpretation guides and labeling documents using templates.
The position involves regulated documentation work, ensuring compliance with FDA and quality system standards.
The role acts as a bridge between project teams and the technical documentation department.
Key Technical Skills Required -
Adobe InDesign (Top Priority)
Candidate must have strong hands-on experience.
Around 90% of the work involves creating or updating interpretation guides in InDesign.
Ability to use advanced functions in InDesign to update templates efficiently.
Microsoft Word
Used for method sheets and document templates.
Candidates should be comfortable working with Word templates.
Adobe tools (for redlining and updates) may also be used depending on the workflow.
Experience -
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience (recently updated from 5+ years).
Candidates should preferably have experience working in:
Large organizations
High-volume documentation environments
Pharmaceutical experience is helpful but not mandatory.
Candidates with freelance or purely project-based design work are less preferred.
Primary Responsibilities -
Update and manage interpretation guides using Adobe InDesign templates.
Compile information from multiple stakeholders, including:
Pathologists
Project teams
Regulatory teams
Quality teams
Perform document formatting, redlining, and revisions.
Ensure consistency across documentation templates.
Support documentation updates required for regulatory submissions.
