Julia Blum Music LLC is an independent boutique music company based in Beverly Hills. Established in 2025, the company is led by singer, songwriter, and composer Julia Blum, who oversees all aspects of the creative process - from composition and production to release and distribution.
Our mission is to create powerful, inspirational impact through music, with revenue as a secondary outcome rather than the primary driver. The brand centers around Julia's story and artistry, with a focus on building authentic, lasting connection and meaningful value for listeners and subscribers.
Julia Blum's work is rooted in a lifelong dedication to music. She began performing professionally at a young age, then excelled in the performing arts at Beverly Hills High School and Yale University, also enrolling at Harvard along the way. She went on to release two albums, Stand Tall and Songs of the Heart, reaching tens of thousands of listeners across the United States and internationally. After spending time to focus on family, she has returned to singing, songwriting, and composing, and is currently releasing her most ambitious body of work to date.
Julia has an untapped audience of tens of thousands of listeners from previous albums, tours, and concerts-built prior to the rise of streaming and social media. Much of this audience is unaware of her recent return to music. We are focused on re-engaging that base while expanding to new audiences across multiple demographics.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Social Media Manager (Contract Role) to join our team.
This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles (Beverly Hills), with approximately 50% of work taking place on site and 50% remote.
The schedule will vary week to week based on content calendars, production timelines, Julia's availability, and yours.
Because Julia Blum Music is building its presence across platforms, there will be a strong emphasis on social media strategy, content development, and audience growth. This is a rare opportunity to build and shape the social presence of an artist from the ground up.
You will have meaningful, immediate creative impact from the outset, with the opportunity to focus deeply on one artist's brand development.
You will generate and execute innovative ideas while working in close alignment with Julia's creative direction. You will lead high-level social media strategy across platforms while managing day-to-day content capture, execution, publishing, and rollout - in close collaboration with Julia and the team.
As the brand grows, this role has the potential to expand over time, based on demonstrated results, trust, and strong working compatibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategy aligned with brand pillars
- Ideate content buckets, campaigns, and creative concepts
- Build and manage content calendars and campaign timelines
- Capture and edit short-form video content and social-first creative
- Write compelling social media copy and adapt voice/tone per platform
- Publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
- Manage community engagement and audience interaction
- Track analytics, insights, and performance metrics to optimize strategy
- Provide real-time strategy adjustments based on performance
- Support live events, shoots, and travel content capture as needed

Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing
- Experience working with artists, talent, or personal brands (music industry preferred)
- Agency experience strongly preferred (2+ years)
- Proven success growing and managing multi-platform social accounts
- Strong proficiency with analytics tools, scheduling platforms, and editing software
- Experience creating and executing short-form video strategy (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Deep understanding of platform best practices and algorithm behavior
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be based in Los Angeles
- Professional, discreet, collaborative, and comfortable working behind the scenes

Compensation & Schedule
$30-$40/hour, based on experience and expertise.
Hours will vary week to week, but the overall time commitment is expected to be approximately 30-40 hours per week.
No work required on Friday nights or Saturdays during the day.
