Who We Are Seeking / Qualifications
Grow By Three has developed a new brand to lead our community efforts, and is seeking freelance writers to support our goals. Our platform aims to provide fresh, thoughtful, and inclusive perspectives on topics that are top of mind in 2026 and beyond!
The writers we are seeking can communicate their ideas well to others, and have a writing style that is flexible: able to effectively span across formal, professional, informative, relaxed, playful, and humorous tones.
We hope that our writers can deliver pieces – personal essays, profiles, stories, and more – that connect with our values and voice, while resonating with our desired audiences. We appreciate writers who take pride in producing work that is thorough and accurate. Individuals who enjoy staying up to date on culturally-relevant issues, news, trends, and social media moments are encouraged to apply!
Our Needs
We are looking for writers interested in:
- Writing and pitching pieces on topics related to leadership, higher education, professional and organizational excellence, personal and professional growth, wellness, culture, and more;
- Meeting with guests to interview them based on specified parameters, and writing about the interview;
- Attending events (virtually, and potentially in person) in order to recap event experience or topics;
- Using research to guide pieces requiring factual data and/or support;
- Being responsive to email communications;
- Adhering to strict rules related to plagiarism, use of AI, and confidentiality;
- Incorporating SEO expertise; and
- Working independently.
Time Commitment and Location
At this time, we are seeking freelance writers who can produce at least one new piece per month, between the months of March and June 2026. No specific location required.
Rates
At this time, rates are set at $.50 per word, with ideal pieces ranging from 300 to 1000 words.
