Adecco Creative and Marketing is seeking a Freelance Marketing Writer to support its client on a temporary, contingent basis in the United States. This client runs electric scooters, electric bikes, and electric mopeds in more than 200 cities in nearly 30 countries around the world.
This role will focus on delivering high-quality, rider-facing and marketing content that drives engagement, retention, and brand affinity across U.S. markets. The assignment supports a temporary business need for a defined period.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging, informative, and persuasive rider-facing and marketing copy across U.S. markets
- Produce written content aligned with established U.S. brand voice and content guidelines
- Ideate, write, and localize communications across channels including email, in-app messaging, push notifications, SMS, and other customer touchpoints
- Draft blog articles supporting marketing campaigns, product initiatives, and cultural moments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative, Growth, Local Operations, PR, and Influencer teams
- Contribute to content strategy and campaign execution for marketing, influencer, and PR initiatives
- Manage content workflows, revisions, approvals, and deadlines
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback and deliver updates in a timely manner
- Leverage AI-powered tools where appropriate to scale and optimize content creation
- Ensure messaging consistency, cultural nuance, and brand alignment across all deliverables
Requirements
- Proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or customer-facing communications
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to write across multiple formats (email, blog, in-app messaging, push notifications, SMS, etc.)
- Experience adapting content to established brand voice and style guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and revisions simultaneously
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional environment
- Proficiency with common content and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, content management systems)
