Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Content Strategist & Lead Writer is responsible for shaping, scaling, and safeguarding UEW Healthcare’s voice across all growth and brand touchpoints.
This role translates business and growth objectives into a clear, cohesive content strategy — then brings that strategy to life through high-quality writing, messaging frameworks, and content standards. While not always the primary writer, this role sets the bar for content quality, clarity, and consistency across the organization.
The ideal candidate understands that content success is driven by audience insight, distribution, and measurement, not just creativity. They are equally comfortable in developing a long-term content roadmap, writing conversion-focused copy, and using performance data to refine strategy.
This role requires strong influence without authority, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for continual learning and improvement
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Strategy & Planning

Partner with Growth and Marketing leadership to define and execute a clear content vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to organizational goals.

Translate business priorities into integrated content initiatives that drive awareness, acquisition, conversion, and retention.

Audience, Brand & Messaging

Define, document, and steward UEW’s brand voice and tone, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

Map and design content journeys across the full persona lifecycle using empathy, storytelling, and user-centered thinking.

Writing, Editing & Content Quality

Write and edit high-impact content across formats including web, landing pages, email, social, long-form, and sales enablement materials.

Establish editorial standards, develop content briefs and messaging guides, and set quality expectations for all company content.

Data, Measurement & Insights

Analyze content performance using traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics to inform strategy and prioritization.

Conduct keyword research and leverage dashboards and analytics tools to continuously optimize content effectiveness.

Channel & Distribution Strategy

Develop content with distribution in mind across owned, earned, and paid channels, ensuring reach and sustainability.

Align social and community-focused content strategies with broader growth and brand objectives across markets.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business and clinical objectives into clear, effective content solutions.

Manage feedback, align priorities, and confidently present content strategy recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

Project & Workflow Management

Build and manage content production workflows, including coordination with vendors and freelance partners as needed.

Balance multiple initiatives while maintaining quality, timelines, and strategic alignment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
