Role Description
Blackwing is looking for a Web Designer/Developer who has experience with Shopify themes and Shogun page building. Must know about customizing existing Shopify themes, optimizing performance, and page building. This will be an ongoing, needs-based freelance gig.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Shopify development, including the Liquid template language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, APIs, and third-party Shopify apps
- Understanding of front-end development, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize web applications
- Experience with SEO optimization, analytics, and an understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and knowledge of emerging web development trends is a plus
