Role Summary
Duarte is seeking a Contract Senior Content Strategist to accelerate the creation of strategic, SEO/AEO-informed content across pillar pages, spokes, product pages, and video scripts. This contractor will partner closely with the VP of Communication & Marketing, Content Strategist, and Marketing Ops to produce high-impact content that ranks, converts, and reflects Duarte’s unique point of view on business communication.
This role requires a writer who combines exceptional craft, strategic thinking, SEO expertise, and fluency with AI tooling—without ever producing AI “slop” or keyword-stuffed content. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, strong interviewer, and skilled storyteller capable of translating subject-matter expertise into clear, actionable, persuasive content aligned to Duarte’s brand voice.
This is a high-impact content engine role, ideal for a writer energized by ownership, results, and measurable performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Content Development

Become deeply fluent in Duarte’s IP (DataStory, Resonate, Slide:ology, Captivate, Adaptive Listening, etc.) to produce content that preserves nuance, accuracy, and conceptual integrity.

Write pillar pages, hub/spoke blog posts, product landing pages, guides, scripts, and nurture content aligned to SEO/AEO strategy.

Conduct SME interviews (VP, product owners, coaches, designers) to extract insights and turn them into compelling narrative content.
SEO & AEO-Informed Content Creation

Build content based on target keywords, SERP intent, competitive analysis, and audience research.

Follow Duarte’s SEO/AEO editorial standards—no keyword stuffing, no AI-generated filler, no shortcuts that compromise clarity or craft.

Optimize content for featured snippets, panels, structured data, and position-zero opportunities.
AI-Enabled Workflow (Quality-First)

Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) to accelerate research, outlining, or repurposing—never to replace the human craft of writing.

Maintain impeccable editorial quality, originality, and thought leadership.
Content Repurposing & Acceleration

Convert long-form assets into short-form content (email, social, ad copy, nurture sequences).

Identify opportunities to strengthen hub/spoke ecosystems, fill content gaps, and accelerate ranking.
Quality, Craft, & Collaboration

Deliver content that meets Duarte’s brand voice, intellectual standard, and clarity benchmarks.

Collaborate closely with the VP of Communication & Marketing and the Content Strategist on angles, structure, and narrative direction.

Accept feedback with ease and iterate quickly.
Requirements:
Skill Requirements & Qualifications

5–10+ years of B2B writing experience in consulting, professional services, tech, or education/training.

Proven track record producing SEO-driven pillar pages and hub/spoke systems.

Experience writing high-quality product landing pages and conversion-focused content.

Experience scripting or writing for YouTube or video strongly preferred.

Strong communicator with a low-ego, high-craft mindset.

Able to accept feedback and iterate without friction.

Highly organized, efficient, and reliable with deadlines.
Contract Structure

Estimated 20–40 hours/month, depending on cadence of pillar pages and product pages.

Contractor role; remote; U.S. only.
