We are looking for a motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team in Piedmont, South Carolina. This position focuses on coordinating and promoting blood drive events while providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. As a Contract to permanent opportunity, this role offers a pathway to long-term employment within a dynamic, non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule blood drive events with partnering businesses and organizations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for blood drive coordinators, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create engaging promotional materials for events.
• Manage event logistics, including timelines and resource allocation.
• Monitor and maintain accounts related to blood drive partnerships.
• Assist in the execution of direct marketing campaigns to increase event participation.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Provide support during events, ensuring all aspects are running smoothly.
• Maintain flexibility to work on both 1st and 2nd shifts, including occasional weekends.
• Utilize organizational skills to streamline processes and improve event outcomes.
• Proven experience in event coordination or planning, preferably in a non-profit or similar setting.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in email marketing and direct marketing campaigns.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with partners and team members.
• Familiarity with account management and maintaining key partnerships.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varied shifts and occasional weekend work.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
