Role OverviewThe Community Builder is the on-the-ground heartbeat of TALD in their city — a connector, curator, and advocate who helps grow and activate our local professional community. This is a flexible, part-time role designed for someone with strong existing relationships in the architecture and design ecosystem. You’ll help bring exceptional professionals into TALD, host quarterly gatherings, strengthen ties with the real estate community, and elevate TALD’s presence across your market.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Growth & Network Development- Identify and introduce exceptional interior designers, architects, builders, and landscape designers to TALD.
- Leverage existing relationships across A&D, showrooms, real estate, and PR to build warm pipelines.
- Partner with local realtors to match TALD professionals with renovation-ready or relocation-ready clients.
- Serve as a trusted ambassador of the TALD brand in your market.
Local Events & Market Activation- Plan and execute quarterly TALD Local events that foster high-quality B2B networking and community connection.
- Collaborate with local venues, showrooms, and partners to host elevated, design-forward gatherings.
- Represent TALD at key industry events and local happenings to build visibility and relationships.
Brand Presence & Social Insight- Support TALD’s presence on social media by surfacing local designers, projects, and market insights.
- Maintain an elevated aesthetic in all digital touchpoints aligned with TALD’s editorial-forward brand.
- Share market trends and qualitative feedback that inform TALD’s community and product strategy.
Member Support & Engagement- Help new professionals understand TALD’s platform, opportunities, and best practices.
- Facilitate soft introductions within the local network to strengthen collaboration and referrals.
- Offer localized context that helps members feel connected, supported, and engaged.
Qualifications- Strong, pre-existing network within the architecture, interior design, showroom, real estate, or design-PR communities.
- Natural relationship-builder with a track record of creating trusted connections.
- Experienced in the A&D ecosystem and fluent in how the industry operates.
- Comfortable planning and hosting intimate professional events.
- Excellent communicator — in person, over email, and across social platforms.
- Elevated aesthetic sensibility and familiarity with social media as a professional tool.
- Self-directed, proactive, and energized by roles with flexibility and autonomy.
