Video Editor - Contract Position
Contract Details: 8-week initial contract with strong potential for extension through March 2025. High-value projects expected in Q2.
Required Experience: Adobe Premiere Pro, Pro Tools or Logic Pro, voice-over recording integration into Pro Tools or Logic Pro.
We are seeking a contract Adobe Premiere Pro Assistant Video Editor with demonstrated experience in corporate, educational, marketing, and interview-style video production, as well as technical procedural content. The Assistant Editor will be responsible for media ingestion, asset management, footage organization, and creating rough assembly edits for multiple daily video projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Ingest, manage, and organize large volumes of footage efficiently • Create rough assembly edits for multiple videos per day • Track shots and maintain detailed production notes during studio filming • Transfer filming notes into organized, accessible documents • Source and integrate music into timelines • Record scratch audio when required • Apply basic color grading and LUTs using Adobe Lumetri
Required Qualifications: • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Transcription/Caption tools • Experience working in multi-editor production environments • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Ability to take creative direction from post-production leadership • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro • Experience with localization processes preferred
Work Environment: This is an in-office position requiring collaboration within a dynamic production team.
