Our client, a growing name in the entertainment space is seeking a Social Media Manager. This is a freelance position (40 hours a week) with potential to go fulltime that is hybrid in LA.
We are seeking a creative and innovative Social Media Manager with 7+ years of experience to lead our social media strategy and execution. In this role, you will oversee all social media channels, develop compelling content and strategies, and drive engagement to elevate our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-platform social media strategy that aligns with the brand's goals.
- Lead content creation, curation, and scheduling across all platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
- Work in lockstep with the marketing team in the Interactive/Gaming vertical to ensure compatible and cohesive brand storytelling.
- Nurture and grow social media communities, fostering engagement and brand loyalty.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.
- Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media tools.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to produce cohesive campaigns, owning content, strategy, and approvals for social.
- Thoughtfully present strategy, data to cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of proven experience in social media management, with a track record of successful campaigns.
- Deep proficiency for the entertainment industry, including film, TV, video games, animation & more.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and advertising platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Creativity and ability to develop innovative content ideas.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
