Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Freelance/Fractional Director of Paid to enhance our advertising efforts on Meta + Google platforms for ourselves and clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital advertising and proficiency in HubSpot marketing automation tools. As a crucial member of our freelance marketing team, you will be responsible for setting the leadership & strategy for the agency and agency clients. The ideal candidate can set strategy at a senior level 20% of the time, act as a joint account manager to clients 20% of the time, direct other team members 20% of the time, and do the actual work 40% of the time. You should be extremely proficient at creating, managing, and optimizing our paid ad campaigns to achieve specific marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective marketing strategies on Meta + Google platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, Maps, LSAs, YouTube, etc.) to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
- Manage daily account responsibilities associated with Google & Meta advertising.
- Create compelling ad copy, select target audiences, and design ads that align with our brand's image and objectives.
- Utilize HubSpot to develop and track email campaigns, lead nurturing processes, and the effectiveness of different ad campaigns.
- Analyze campaign performance data and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize ad spend ROI.
- Prepare detailed performance reports using both Meta Ads Manager and HubSpot analytics.
- Collaborate with other team members to align ad campaigns with broader marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to ad strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing with a significant focus on digital advertising.
- 3+ years of experience in paid advertisting across Meta + Google platforms.
- Proficient in managing and optimizing ad platforms.
- Experienced in using HubSpot for marketing automation and analytics.
- Ability to create targeted ad campaigns, analyze data, and adjust tactics for optimal results.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Independent contractor who can provide their own tools and software.
- Experience in the financial services sector and aware of regulation and compliance rules.
- Experience on both the B2B and B2C side strongly preferred (either with depth is fine too).
- Strong reporting skills and frameworks using platforms like Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Funnel and similar data warehousing + reporting tools.
Desired Skills:
- Programmatic advertising experience
- Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics.
- Knowledge of additional paid platforms like: LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter/X, Bing, Taboola
- Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
