We are looking for a freelance Senior Video Editor who specializes in paid social creatives, UGC-style ads, and direct-response editing for platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Reddit.
If you can turn raw footage into thumb-stopping, performance-driven ads and you understand what makes paid media convert, we want to work with you.
What You Will Do
- Edit high-performing ads for Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other paid channels.
- Turn raw footage, UGC, testimonials, hooks, and storytelling clips into performance-ready ad variations.
- Concept and pitch video ideas based on product, audience, and marketing goals.
- Build multiple hooks, intros, versions, and CTAs for testing and iteration.
- Maintain brand consistency across edits for multiple clients.
- Optimize creative based on ad performance data such as CTR, hold rate, CPC, and ROAS.
- Stay current with paid social trends, editing styles, platform algorithms, and creative best practices.
- Work quickly under deadlines with multiple projects running at once.
What We Are Looking For
- 5 or more years of experience editing videos for paid media, ecommerce, or DTC brands.
- Strong ability to produce UGC-style ads, native edits, and direct response creatives.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Bonus if you can use Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, or Figma.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
- Ability to ideate concepts and execute edits.
- Comfortable reading performance metrics and optimizing creative based on results.
- Excellent communication and ability to take feedback.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
Nice to Have Skills
(Not required but great if you have them)
- Understanding of paid social platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and YouTube Ads.
- Ability to create light motion graphics.
- Basic knowledge of typography and visual design.
- Familiarity with ecommerce funnels and ad creative strategy.
