Title: Freelance Assistant Designer, Sweaters

Responsibilities
- Work closely with team to design category-specific product based on design direction for Sweaters
- Learn and understand raw materials, fabrics, and washes related to a specific classification
- Perform daily follow-up using email and PLM
- Interact with merchants and vendors to develop working partnerships
- Observe presentation techniques and be prepared to make preliminary presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education)
- At least 1-3 years of related Apparel experience; wovens related experience is a plus
- Must be knowledgeable of Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM (or equivalent program)
- Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction
- Able to multi-task and prioritize based on business objectives
