Technical Designer – Women’s Apparel (Los Angeles-Based)

Brasseur Inc., a well-established women’s fashion company based in Downtown Los Angeles, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Designer to join our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead in-person fittings for women's tops, jackets, pants, skirts, and dresses.
· Prepare and send detailed fit comments to overseas factories.
· Communicate with overseas production teams to ensure accurate sample execution and production quality.
· Review graded specs for accuracy and approval, construction details, and technical specifications.
· Collaborate closely with pattern-makers, designers, and production to ensure garments meet fit and quality standards.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical designer in the fashion industry.
· Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, and technical design processes.
· Proficient in reviewing and updating tech packs, specs, and fit comments.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey fit corrections and construction notes to overseas teams.
· Must be based in the Greater Los Angeles Area and available for in-person fittings in our DTLA showroom.
Freelance work. $35/hour.
