Job Description
Smith Home is hiring a part-time, freelance Interior Designer to support the Principle Designer and Team with ongoing residential interior design projects, as well as capture and curate content for the firm's social media. This role will require a wide range of duties and responsibilities (listed below). This is for an individual with a detailed design eye and content creation experience. We are looking for akind and enthusiastic individual with a great attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
The ideal candidate will be quick to pick up on the studio’s design aesthetic and share interesting and original design ideas. They will excel at following up with vendors, clients, and designers to ensure all projects and tasks are moving forward and all parties have up-to-date information at all times. The Designer will be responsible for working within a team environment as well as collaborating directly with the Principal Designer. They will work on multiple projects simultaneously, helping clients of various size and scale to achieve their design goals. Candidates with a background in the Interior Design industry are preferred.

Work with Principle to develop monthly social media content calendar
Skills in capturing photos and videos to be used for Social Media
Skills in creating posts, stories and reels for IG.
Manage posting using PLANN app as well as replying to comments and DMs.
Skills In AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Or Chief Architect Preferred
Skilled in Google Suite, Excel, and Canva preferred
Ability to learn technology Studio Designer, Asana, MyDoma Studios, Dubsado
Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
