Social Media Marketing Consultant
Location: Mostly Hybrid (Lake County/Remote)
Reports to: Interim Executive Director Julie Weinberg
Hours: 5-10 hours/week estimated
Compensation: $30-35/hour or other rates measured by metrics to be agreed upon

We are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Marketing Consultant to lead the development and execution of high-impact campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This role will focus on driving awareness of our free legal services and their benefits, attracting potential clients and partners, and boosting engagement through strategic content and paid media efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage paid and organic marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Develop campaign strategies aligned with brand awareness, lead generation, and engagement goals.
- Collaborate with Coalition Legal staff to produce platform-optimized content.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on KPIs such as reach, CTR, CPL, and engagement rate.
- Manage budgets and audience segmentation using Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Report on campaign performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing or digital advertising
- Proven success managing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, ad formats, and analytics tools
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager
- Excellent copywriting and creative skills
- Ability to analyze data and make performance-driven decisions
- Strong project management and communication skills

Coalition Legal’s mission is to provide greater access to stable employment and housing for indigent residents of Lake County whose past criminal records are holding them back from accomplishing their life goals. We offer free legal aid to help people determine their eligibility to have their criminal records sealed or expunged and assist them with the court process.
