Our client, a growing creative agency has an immediate need for a Copywriter. This is a freelance opportunity (40 hours a week) that is hybrid in LA (4 days a week).
Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Copywriter with a passion and understanding of pop culture and humor. We like funny, so it would be nice if you were hilarious, or at the very least mildly uproarious. Strong personalities are welcome and even encouraged. You will be paired up with an Art Director who also appreciates these things.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years of copywriting experience, with a strong focus on advertising, marketing and entertainment.
- Portfolio demonstration headline and body copy for 360 campaigns
- Keen understanding of American humor and culture is also vitally important
- Ability to write in tools like Google Docs and Microsoft word and ability to use the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Figma)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills,

- Create outstanding and award-winning work through great ideas, impeccable craft and a base level understanding of connecting to people using storytelling and great ideas.

- Work on existing client portfolio as well as pitching new business
