We’re looking for a strategic and creative Senior Copywriter to join our client’s dynamic creative team. In this role, you will craft compelling and high-performing copy that engages audiences across multiple touchpoints, including short-form, long-form, and product copy. As a key member of the creative team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to develop messaging that resonates with their global eCommerce audience and drives marketing results. The senior copywriter has a strong ability for storytelling, obsessed with clarity and precision, and excited about shaping a brand’s messaging in the eCommerce space while maintaining brand voice and tone. This is an ongoing freelance assignment that is fully remote. 40 hours weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and engaging copy for a variety of channels, including website, digital ads, social media, email, product descriptions, landing pages, and more.
- Concept and execute creative ideas in collaboration with designers, strategists, and marketing teams to elevate brand messaging.
- Craft compelling product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits while maintaining brand voice and tone.
- Optimize copy for performance marketing campaigns, leveraging A/B testing and analytics insights to drive conversions and engagement.
- Maintain brand voice consistency across all communications while adapting messaging for different global markets and audiences.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, audience behaviors, and emerging platforms to continuously innovate copy strategies.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house creative team, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work.
- Proven experience writing for beauty, fashion, retail, eCommerce, or digital-first brands across multiple content formats including product copy.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate concepts into clear, engaging, and persuasive messaging.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, digital marketing, and conversion-focused copywriting.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and marketing strategists.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
