We’re looking for a strategic and creative Senior Copywriter to join our client’s dynamic creative team. In this role, you will craft compelling and high-performing copy that engages audiences across multiple touchpoints, including short-form, long-form, and product copy. As a key member of the creative team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to develop messaging that resonates with their global eCommerce audience and drives marketing results. The senior copywriter has a strong ability for storytelling, obsessed with clarity and precision, and excited about shaping a brand’s messaging in the eCommerce space while maintaining brand voice and tone. This is an ongoing freelance assignment that is fully remote. 40 hours weekly.
Responsibilities:
Develop innovative and engaging copy for a variety of channels, including website, digital ads, social media, email, product descriptions, landing pages, and more.
Concept and execute creative ideas in collaboration with designers, strategists, and marketing teams to elevate brand messaging.
Craft compelling product descriptions that highlight key features and benefits while maintaining brand voice and tone.
Optimize copy for performance marketing campaigns, leveraging A/B testing and analytics insights to drive conversions and engagement.
Maintain brand voice consistency across all communications while adapting messaging for different global markets and audiences.
Stay up to date on industry trends, audience behaviors, and emerging platforms to continuously innovate copy strategies.
Edit and proofread copy to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
Requirements:
5+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house creative team, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work.
Proven experience writing for beauty, fashion, retail, eCommerce, or digital-first brands across multiple content formats including product copy.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to translate concepts into clear, engaging, and persuasive messaging.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices, digital marketing, and conversion-focused copywriting.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and marketing strategists.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
