Our client, a luxury retailer, is looking to hire a
remote SEO Content Strategist/ Writer for
20-30 hrs per week, through
EOY.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
- Align content with SEO, creative, and marketing strategies to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Write and edit high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content for improved site experience, including long-form, product, content blocks.
- Ensure content tone and messaging is consistent across all channels and resonates with a luxury audience.
- Perform keyword research, use gap analysis and internal data to ideate and improve experience through content.
Editorial Oversight
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it adheres to brand guidelines and maintains an impeccable level of accuracy and sophistication.
- Leverage content calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met and that content is aligned with shared strategies.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor content performance metrics (rank, traffic, engagement, conversions) to make data-driven decisions.
- Create ad-hoc recommendations to continuously optimize content for better user experience, rankings, and conversion.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in content strategy, writing, and editing for e-commerce, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar, style, and brand voice.
- Ability to adapt and maneuver in a somewhat matrixed environment and moving between Creative, Merchandising, and SEO teams.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, particularly those specific to content.
- Ability to understand and connect with a high-end, luxury-focused audience.
- Experience working with enterprise CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with measuring content performance.
- Experience with enterprise-level SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Deepcrawl, Brightedge, Botify, Moz, etc.
