Barry’s is the Best Workout in the WorldTM®. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role
As Freelance Social Media Support, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Social Media and Influencer Marketing to execute Barry’s social media strategy across platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok. You will oversee community management, assist in content creation, and manage scheduling and reporting to ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence. Your role will be crucial in growing our online audience and staying aligned with the latest social media trends.
What you'll do

Manage and engage with the community across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms

Edit and create Instagram Reels and TikToks, ensuring content aligns with our brand's voice and aesthetic

Develop, manage, and execute the social media content calendar

Work with the creative team to handle all graphic and visual requests

Collaborate with the Brand Partnerships team on reporting, ensuring metrics are met and content is performing optimally

Stay ahead of emerging social media trends and recommend relevant opportunities for the brand

Monitor social engagement and provide feedback to the Director on what’s working and areas for improvement
Qualifications

Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok platform best practices and trends

Experience with social media content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
