Duties

Accept assignments or develop original written content tailored to target audiences
Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth in all topics covered
Edit and proofread drafts to maintain clarity, coherence, and adherence to AP style guidelines
Collaborate with clients or team members to refine content based on feedback and project goals
Fact-check all information to uphold journalistic integrity and credibility
Possible to help with social media accounts by creating engaging posts and monitoring audience interactions

Qualifications

Proven experience in story telling, in journalism, copywriting, or professional writing roles with a strong portfolio of published work
Excellent writing skills with mastery of AP style and attention to detail
Ability to produce high-quality content efficiently under deadlines
Strong editing, proofreading, and copy editing skills to ensure polished final products
Knowledge of social media management tools helpful, along with strategies for maximizing reach and engagement
Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients or team members across projects
Experience with research techniques and fact-checking processes to ensure accuracy
