Social Media Marketing Assistant

New York, NY | Full-Time, In-Office (Contract with Opportunity for Full-Time Hire) | $30/hr

Join one of New York City’s most iconic and influential personal injury law firms. Known for dominating social media across NYC, we’re looking for a driven, creative, and socially fluent marketer to help push our brand even further. If your strength is producing exciting, high-impact short-form video content, this role was made for you.

This is a 6-month, full-time, in-office contract role (Monday–Friday) with the opportunity for extension or full-time hire. Long-term potential is based on performance, effectiveness, and your ability to operate fluidly within a fast-moving brand ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality content—including graphics, videos, and written posts—that tells compelling stories and drives real engagement.
Produce effective, platform-specific videos that resonate with defined audiences.
Maintain a clean, strategic social media calendar aligned with brand goals and stakeholders.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams while thriving independently in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Analyze performance data to refine content and optimize growth.
Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the firm with confidence, professionalism, and energy.
Support event marketing efforts, including planning, setup, and execution.
Bring a creative edge and fresh perspective to all content and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, advertising, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related discipline.
Proven success creating branded content that performs.
Hands-on experience with graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Final Cut).
Strong writer and storyteller with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences.
Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus.
Highly organized, social by nature, data-driven, and energized by challenges.
