Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on role focused on growing brand awareness, generating qualified leads, and supporting member acquisition across multiple gym locations. The ideal candidate blends creative storytelling with organized execution and is comfortable shooting short‑form content, engaging the community, and moving prospects through simple follow‑ups and sign-ups.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesContent & Digital Media

Plan, create, and publish engaging short‑form video and photo content for Instagram (primary) and other channels as appropriate.
Write clear captions and on‑brand copy; maintain a consistent posting cadence and respond to comments/DMs.
Update basic website/landing page content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Lead Handling & Lifecycle Support

Monitor inbound inquiries (web forms, IG, Google) and provide timely, friendly responses.
Book tours/day passes and send reminders; conduct light post‑visit follow‑ups (text/email/phone) using templates.
Maintain clean tracking of sources and outcomes (e.g., simple CRM or spreadsheet).

Campaign Support & Reporting

Assist with planning and executing campaigns across social, search, email/SMS, and in‑club promotions.
Coordinate with printers, vendors, and partners to deliver campaign assets on time (e.g., postcards/EDDM, flyers).
Compile simple weekly/monthly reports on activity and results; note insights and next steps.

Brand, Community & Partnerships

Uphold brand voice and visual standards across channels and materials.
Support local partnerships (apartments, cafés, employers) and occasional community events.
Encourage member reviews and collect testimonials; highlight member stories and achievements.

Local Marketing & Collateral

Design basic marketing materials (e.g., flyers, 6×9 postcards) using Canva or similar tools.
Prepare route lists/promo codes/QRs and track redemptions for print campaigns.

General & Administrative

Keep media libraries, copy docs, and tracking sheets organized and current.
Provide administrative support for marketing projects as needed; coordinate simple vendor quotes and orders.

Outcomes

Support the team in reaching the target new signups/month across locations.
Aim for rapid lead responses and consistent content cadence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or related roles (internships/freelance considered).
Strong short‑form content skills (filming/editing on phone; basic tools like CapCut or equivalent).
Clear written and verbal communication; friendly, proactive customer service mindset.
Comfortable with multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn; able to work independently and collaboratively on‑site.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience with basic paid media (Meta/Instagram, Google) and simple landing page tools.
Familiarity with CRM or messaging tools (e.g., HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, or similar).
Canva or basic design skills; light photo/video color correction.
Interest in fitness/wellness and comfort creating content in a gym environment.

Work Hours & Flexibility

Standard full‑time schedule on‑site; occasional evenings/weekends for events, content, or timely posts.
Some travel between the two Philadelphia locations.
