Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive media buying strategies aligned with marketing goals, focusing on performance marketing and audience targeting.
Plan and execute media campaigns across traditional and digital platforms such as traditional radio, streaming audio (podcast), satellite and other media channels, ensuring optimal placement and timing.
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, audience behaviors, and competitive insights that inform media planning decisions.
Negotiate purchasing terms with media vendors to secure the best rates while maintaining quality standards.
Manage budgets meticulously, allocating resources efficiently across multiple campaigns to maximize impact without overspending.
Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools; analyze data to optimize ongoing campaigns and improve future media plans.
Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate media buying efforts with overall marketing strategies, including print advertising when applicable.
Maintain detailed records of media placements, negotiations, and campaign results for reporting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in audio media buying, with a strong understanding of advertising sales processes.
Proficiency in Nielsen ratings, and other major audio advertising platforms.
Solid knowledge of market research techniques and analytics tools to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable purchasing terms from vendors.
Strong background in media planning, budgeting, and media marketing strategies.
Familiarity with podcast advertising methods is a plus for integrated campaign approaches.
Ability to analyze data critically and translate insights into actionable strategies for improved campaign performance.
