Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing and Administrative Assistant to join our team! Must be self-motivated and action-oriented since this is a work from home position. This freelance position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties include marketing efforts focusing on subscriptions, creating several e-newsletters, handling social media, and other tasks. Graphic design skills are a plus! We would need assistance with designing ads, flyers, postcards, business cards, etc.

Delaware Beach Life is the premier lifestyle magazine of coastal Delaware. It's the one publication that celebrates the unique lifestyle here at the beach, and showcases compelling stories of our beach areas including history, people, food, homes, art, nature, and so much more!

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to execute tasks
Follow several schedules to complete tasks effectively
Create e-newsletters using Brevo (similar to MailChimp)
Communicate with businesses to relay deadlines and details
Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Handle social media by posting content, reply, like/follow pages
Promote subscription memberships by emailing, calling groups
Assist with marketing efforts to increase subscription memberships
Keep lists up-to-date with assistance from team
If knowledgable in graphic design: designing ads, flyers, etc.

Skills

Basic computer literacy is essential
Proficiency in Pages/Word, Numbers/Excel
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail is crucial
Graphic design experience is desirable but not required.
