We seek a confident, proactive Copywriter + Creative Marketing Specialist for our life-coaching and life-coach certification brand. The work is remote, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in meeting deadlines, creating quality work, and being willing to “figure it out” if they don’t know something.

This contract position is interviewing immediately, with a flexible start date. Our budget for this position is $4000 per month, with the expectation that this will be approximately 20-25 hours per week. The candidate will need to reside in North America and be available for meetings and collaboration during the USA/Mountain Time zone.

POSITION DUTIES

Our Copywriter + Creative Marketing Specialist will help us grow our brand and hit our 2025 goals. Your top priority will be ensuring an exceptional member experience, building trust and loyalty, and fostering long-term retention.

Copywriting

Write weekly email newsletter, weekly podcast email, and weekly podcast webpage
Write (and/or refresh) promotional emails and other launch-related content as needed
Experiment with CTAs, format and other optimizations to improve opens/clicks and other engagement metrics

Social Content Creation & Engagement

Implement our social media strategy (provided) by creating high-impact graphics, reels, captions and CTAs that support our promotions and use channel trends/best practices
Implement lead strategy on LinkedIn (training and strategy provided)
Implement lead-gen and nurture strategy on ManyChat
Create social graphics in Canva using our templates and adhering to our brand guidelines
Edit video into reels and video shorts (including captions)
Schedule all social media in Loomly (or other scheduling software)
Engage with comments and DM’s

Podcast Asset Creation

Transcribe episode
Design podcast episode graphics, create episode descriptions and format final transcription

Miscellaneous

Create graphics for student portal as needed
Track all work in ClickUp
Attend two weekly meetings and one monthly meeting
Track monthly metrics and review for ways to continually optimize

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

All deliverables implemented on time, with minimal revisions needed
Deliverables capture our CEO’s voice and align with brand guidelines
Clear communication via ClickUp and Slack on progress, challenges and any required support
Metrics continue to improve over time

QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of demonstrated experience creating social media for B2C service brands (graphics, video editing and captions)
1+ years of experience in email writing for B2C service brands (newsletter and promotional)
Track record of hitting deadlines with minimal errors or re-work
A strong sense of responsibility and ownership of your work
A willingness to dig in and figure things out and to speak up when you need support or require more details to complete your work
High emotional intelligence, strong active listening skills and ability to maintain professional boundaries
Strong familiarity with: ManyChat | ClickUp | Loomly (or other social scheduling software) | Veed (or other video editing software) | Canva | VideoAsk (or similar) | Google Workspace apps
Strong WIFI, up-to-date computer, microphone and audio equipment
Good attention to detail and a no-task-too-small mentality
