Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative, Music Social Media Manager to help us grow our brand. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to grow our online presence and followers, ultimately leading to music streams. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for social media trends. The Social Media Manager will work closely with our marketing committee to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create compelling content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Conduct research to identify target audiences and optimize content accordingly.
Manage relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility.
Collaborate with the marketing committee on advertising campaigns and promotions.
Utilize analytics tools to track performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand voice.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media management, e-commerce, and public relations.
Attend occasional in-person rehearsals and events

Experience

Proven experience in music social media management or a related field is essential.
Strong skills in content creation, including photography and graphic design using tools like Adobe Illustrator.
Experience in relationship management with influencers or partners is a plus.
Familiarity with advertising principles and e-commerce strategies is advantageous.
Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Ability to conduct research effectively to inform strategy development.
