Core Functions

Provide consultation and art direction to university constituents.
Fulfill an institution-wide graphic design and production requests.
Create media and content for publications, including blogs, websites, and related material.
Demonstrate expertise and communicate the University’s brand, style, voice, guidelines, and appropriate use to others.
Assist in monitoring the usage of university logos and brands.
Create brand-consistent logos for departmental, programmatic, and other specialty uses.
Identify opportunities to improve or enhance brand use and recommend solutions.
Assist in designing university apparel and swag.

Background/Expertise

Understanding marketing, production, website design, brand identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Proficiency with required Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Able to coordinate and direct projects.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Strong eye for visual composition.
Possess a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques.
Ability to use related hardware and software (e.g., Google Suite, databases, social media analytic tools).
Expert in creativity and design.
Photography and videography skills are a plus.
