Part-time independent contractor position available, up to 30 hours per week.

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Graphic Designer who will work closely with our Creative Director, AIGA Medalist, and previous Pentagram Partner, Kit Hinrichs. The role involves conceptualizing visuals and creating images and layouts using Adobe Creative Cloud applications. This includes illustrations, logos, layouts, presentations, exhibit design, book design, and other miscellaneous design tasks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously and be receptive to feedback from the principal and clients. Flexibility and adaptability to handle unexpected requests are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare artwork for presentation
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using Adobe CC applications
Work collaboratively to amend designs after feedback and to produce final designs
Other related tasks as assigned

Requirements and skills

Degree in Design or related field, with a passion for typography
Highly proficient with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with AfterEffects is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
