Tag Communication Services is looking for a freelance Social Media Coordinator to provide consulting services to our largest client, SAP. This will be a 5-month assignment with the potential to be extended into 2025.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing social media programs and creating high-quality short- and long-form content. In addition, you must have knowledge of sustainability topics with a background in executive communications. This role will be essential in amplifying the client’s sustainability message and engaging their key external audiences. In addition, you will provide high-quality, executive-communications support for the client’s executive team, including the Chief Sustainability and Commercial Officer.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute social media strategies to promote SAP sustainability initiatives.
Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram).
Work with SAP sustainability leadership team to craft executive messages, blogs, and other forms of social media content.
Produce high-quality written and visual content that aligns with SAP sustainability goals.
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Analyze and report on social media metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in social media and sustainability.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
3-5 years working experience.
East coast location.
Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills (e.g., blogs, social visuals, infographics).
Proven experience in social media and content management.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders inside and outside SAP, at all levels.
Experience working in fast-paced environments, with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
Knowledge of sustainability issues, trends, and best practices a plus.
