Packaging / Print Project Manager

Project Timelines and Coordination:

○ Based on initial project plans from commercialization, develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables

○ Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, design, product development, procurement) and external vendors (printers, material suppliers) to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

○ Schedule and lead project meetings to track progress and address any issues.

Design and Development:

○ Work closely with the design team to ensure packaging designs meet brand guidelines and project requirements.

○ Provide input and feedback on design drafts to ensure feasibility for print production.

○ Oversee the creation of packaging prototypes and manage revisions as necessary.

Internal and External Signoff:

○ Facilitate the internal review and signoff process for initial proofs, ensuring all internal stakeholders approve the designs before proceeding.

○ Coordinate with external vendors to obtain proofs and manage the signoff process for these proofs.

○ Ensure all necessary adjustments are made based on feedback before final approval

Vendor Management:

○ Work with procurement to manage vendor relationships ensuring timely delivery and high-quality production.

Production Oversight:

○ Oversee the print production process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.

○ Conduct press checks and quality control inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of printed materials.

○ Address any production issues promptly and effectively to minimize delays.

Documentation and Reporting:

○ Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, design files, production schedules, and quality control reports.

○ Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a Print Project Manager, preferably in packaging for consumer products.

● Strong understanding of print production processes, materials, and techniques.

● Excellent project management and organizational skills.

● Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

● Strong communication and negotiation skills.

● Familiarity with Ka'Chava's brand and product offerings is a plus.
