Job Title: Graphics Designer

Duration: 5 months (Possible extension)

Location: Jackson, MI, 49201

Summary

The Graphics Designer will create visually compelling and original visuals to educate and engage audiences, build stakeholder trust, and achieve desired behaviors and outcomes. Assets may include digital static, HTML5 and Out of Home advertisements, email, web, social media, direct mail, print ads, infographics, and other tactics. The designer will take ownership of assigned subject areas, gaining a deep understanding of customer problems and developing visually unique ways to engage the audience.

Requirements

Proficiency in graphic design programs (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
Experience in website design and content development
Knowledge of typography, color theory, and basic design principles
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent storytelling skills
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with the ability to navigate diverse business groups and geographical cultures
Photography skills are a plus
Proficiency in After Effects will set you apart
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, business, or related field
- Associate’s degree in graphic design, business, or related field with two (2) or more years of applicable experience
- High School Diploma with ten (10) or more years of applicable experience
Experience in a fast-paced marketing organization or corporate brand department is preferred
