Overview
The Freelance Shopify Consultant will provide expert guidance, offer best-practice recommendations, and help manage Shopify projects from start to finish. This role calls for an individual with deep platform expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and a history of delivering standout results. You will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring that each project meets objectives on time, within budget, and according to professional standards.

This role is project based on an as needed basis.

We are looking for freelancers with the most competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities

Strategic Consulting: Analyze client needs, pinpoint challenges, and develop tailored strategies to optimize and scale Shopify stores.
Strategic Coaching: Provide tutorials on how to update various parts of the Shopify storefront as well as real time Shopify website editing.
Platform Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Shopify features, themes, and apps to implement best practices for product listings, checkout processes, and payment gateways.
Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve store performance, enhance conversion rates, and elevate user experience through UI improvements and strategic integrations.
Technical Support: Troubleshoot site functionality, implement custom features, and stay current on platform updates and compliance requirements.

Experience

Experience: At least 3-5 years of hands-on Shopify experience, including store launches, theme customizations, and third-party app integrations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid language, HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of JavaScript.
Familiarity with Shopify APIs is a plus.
E-Commerce Acumen: Proven success improving conversion rates, UX/UI design, and overall site performance.
Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and digital marketing tools is preferred.
Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set clear priorities, meet deadlines, and manage budgets effectively. Experience in freelance or agency environments is a plus.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable recommendations for clients.
Collaboration: A proactive, solution-oriented approach, paired with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with internal teams and clients.
