JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented Freelance Videographer to join our team remotely. As a Freelance Videographer, you will be responsible for creating captivating short-form videos tailored for social media platforms. Your primary focus will be on authentically capturing and conveying the essence of various businesses through compelling visual storytelling. All videos will be used on the client’s social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn. Below are some examples of the types of videos we are looking for:

Dub/Voiceover/Viral Audio (TikTok/Reels) - Example
FAQs with the team - Example
Live procedures - Example
Before/after clips - Example
Patient testimonials - Example
Practice tours - Example

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Video Production: Conceptualize, plan, and execute short-form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
Storytelling: Develop a deep understanding of each client's brand and story, and translate it into visually engaging content that resonates with their audience.
Directing: Engage with clients during shoots to elicit authentic narratives, providing guidance and direction to help them articulate their story effectively on camera.
Editing: Utilize video editing software to enhance raw footage, adding graphics, headers, closed captions, and compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) to optimize engagement and accessibility.
Collaboration: Work closely with our creative team to ensure alignment with brand messaging and visual aesthetics.
Travel: Be willing to travel for on-location shoots as required. All travel expenses will be covered.
Shoot Locations: Our shoots are typically hosted at the client’s main location of doing business. This could be a medical practice, dental practice, office building, etc… If the client does not have a physical location, we will shoot at a local studio or around town.
Medical Environment: must be comfortable shooting in a medical setting as we have medical and dental clients. Sometimes this may require capturing live surgeries, injectables, laser procedures, etc…Please do not apply if you are uncomfortable in this environment.

The videographer’s core responsibility is to create videos that will be used on our client’s social media campaigns. Our team will be responsible for providing the following:

Shoot location, date & time.
Setlist - description of videos needed, audio links, timeline, and notes.
Mood board - a visual asset to share what type of vibe we’re going for.
Client coordination - we give the client all the information they need to have a successful shoot.
Client communication - all communications are handled by our team.

DELIVERABLES

Half Day Shoots

4 hours of filming
20 high-resolution videos (15-60 sec clips)
All 20 videos are due within 48 hours of the shoot
Revisions are due within 24 hours of receiving edit requests from our team
2 rounds of revisions
All videos must be uploaded + stored through our Google Drive

Full Day Shoots

8 hours of filming
40 high-resolution videos (15-60 sec clips)
All 40 videos are due within 72 hours of the shoot
Revisions are due within 24 hours of receiving edit requests from our team
2 rounds of revisions
All videos must be uploaded + stored through our Google Drive

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually appealing and engaging content.
Passion for Storytelling: A genuine passion for storytelling and the ability to convey emotions and messages through visual media.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members to bring their vision to life.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiar with industry-standard camera equipment and techniques.
Equipment requirements: a professional camera (DSLR or mirrorless preferred), microphone, and lighting. Other equipment should include tripods, extra batteries, & additional lenses
Post-Production Editing: videos must be 90 seconds or less. Edits should include headers, CTAs, intros, outros, and closed captions as needed. Recommended editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Rush, After Effects, Splice.

OUR PROCESS

Our team will reach out via email when a shoot is available to book. Shoots are assigned based on your experience working with us, the quality of work, your ability to meet deadlines, and strong communication.

PROFESSIONALISM & DRESS CODE

We require our videographers to wear a Social Practice shirt (provided) to each shoot you attend.This helps the client/visitors know who you are and what you’re there for.

TRAINING INFORMATION

Videographers attend a one-hour virtual training that covers our process and what to expect when working with us. Upon completion of your interview, background check, and reference check, we will reach out to schedule your online training.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

We use Square direct deposit for compensation. Our compensation structure for shoots can be found below:

Half Day Shoots - $750

4 hours of filming
20 high-resolution videos (15-60 sec clips)

Full Day Shoots - $1,500

8 hours of filming
40 high-resolution videos (15-60 sec clips)
