Busy creative agency is looking for freelance content strategist/copywriting talent. This per-project role is two-fold. First, define the purpose and vision, lay out a strategy and structure, and distill the information into clear, concise, messaging. Then, craft killer headlines copy and that deliver the message and bring the vision to life.

We're looking for technology-focused writers who know the B2B and enterprise space, and possess a deep understanding of cloud, big data, and security solutions. The ability to work under tight time constraints to meet aggressive deadlines is vital.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

· Conduct SEO and analytical research

· Conduct competitor research

· Identify content gaps and needs

· Develop content strategies that support goals and objectives

· Set guidelines for the tone and voice of branded content

· Meet both short and long term marketing objectives

· Understand social media strategy

· Create target personas and user journey maps

· Write engaging copy for B2B and enterprise space—cloud, big data and security solutions

· Ensure brand consistency and adherence to guidelines

· Create accurate, high-quality content with minimal revisions with quick turnaround times

· Write with a clear, concise and consistent style, adapting tone and voice as required

· Keep up with industry trends and implement best copywriting practices

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline

· 5+ years of applicable experience in writing a wide range of marketing communications assets. B2B experience preferred

· Understanding of B2B and enterprise space, cloud, big data, and security solutions

· Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and research skills

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to translate technical content into easy-to-understand language

This is a per project, contract position
