Adecco Creative and Marketing is searching for a Senior Graphic Print Designer for a publishing, education, and media company that publishes and distributes books, comics, and educational materials for schools, teachers, parents, children, and other educational institutions.

- Must have children audience graphic design experience
The Senior Graphic Designer will work with Art Directors on the design and production of numerous student and teacher-facing educational resources. The Senior Designer will have the opportunity to work on: designing original illustrated and photographic classroom library books (cover designs, title treatments, interiors requiring photo retouching, compositing and editorial typographic design), teaching guides, student workbooks, classroom library packaging, manipulatives, supplemental materials, digital interface components and assets for interactive experiences.
The Senior Designer will report to the Art Director and collaborate with other designers and editors to independently manage their workloads in accordance with our production schedule and design review cadence.
• 6-8 years working as a professional designer
• Expertise in brand design and implementing comprehensive product branding guidelines
• Strong design skill for interior book design, covers and digital adaptations of print materials
• Experience designing for the education or children’s market is a plus
• Strong knowledge of designing with typography (title treatments & integrating with art/photo)
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• The ability to take direction yet maintain creative intuition.
• Proactive communicator – ask questions, offer solutions, seek feedback
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• A strong working knowledge of InDesign master pages and styles
• An approach to file/folder structure that is sensitive to a collaborative workflow
• Experience with WoodWing/inCopy/PDF digital workflow is a plus
• Solid print production experience and understanding of common practices
• Illustration skills are a plus
• Experience with Figma is a plus
• The ability to attend to details while multitasking across multiple projects
• Spectacular communication skills, both verbal and written
