The Junior Graphic Designer will work on a breadth of design projects, from packaging design for our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPGs) to seasonal point-of-sale materials for our bakeries to digital assets for our websites and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr. Graphic Designer, the Junior Graphic Designer will support all of La Monarca Bakery’s marketing and communications initiatives. La Monarca Bakery is a high-growth, fast paced company where you will work on a breadth of creative projects that includes but is not limited to packaging, collateral, point of sale, digital assets and inter-departmental creative support. An ability to work quickly and pivot is crucial and we can ensure you won’t get bored.
Responsibilities
- Design packaging and collateral for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) products that will generate high shelf velocity across our retail channels. Our full line of CPG products can be found here.
- Design Point-of-Sale (POS) materials for our bakery-cafes, highlighting our seasonal offerings to drive awareness and increase sales (i.e. menu boards, posters, window clings, price signs, etc.)
- Design and update product and promotional assets for our digital channels, including e-commerce websites, email marketing and social media platforms.
- Design assets for annual trade shows, branded merchandising, presentations and other corporate projects as needed.
- Uphold brand standards on all design work to ensure consistency across all designs.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field, or minimum of 1 year of experience as a graphic designer with a solid understanding of marketing, production, website design, product packaging, ad campaigns and multimedia design.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Skilled at photo compositing and image editing
- Highly comfortable editing existing creative to fit current direction as well as designing from start to finish.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects at once.
- Illustration experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
